e-office developed a mobile track & trace solution for BlackBerry smartphones that will help you locate your colleagues any moment of the day. A small and resident application will constantly collect the handheld’s geographical location every 10 seconds. Those locations are constantly transferred to the Track & Trace server. With just a click on a button you can request the location of all your co-workers. All movements are all projected on the well known Google Maps interface. Asking your colleague on the phone ‘where are you’ will become a thing of the past.
content geotagging
Knowing your colleagues’ whereabouts is a good thing. Receiving content from them while they are travelling is even better. With the e‑office Track & Trace application on your BlackBerry smartphone you can take pictures and automatically upload them to the server. Then the uploaded pictures are positioned on a Google Maps’ interface so they can easily get associated with the location where they are taken. Obviously you can also upload textual data just as easily.
